Nasdaq market was down about 50 points today and down a couple of hundred points in the last few trading sessions. Big Ben and his Federal Reserve friends tell us all is well with business and we are not in a recession. He is right we are not in a recession it's more like a depression. Could this "tiny problem" as Senator Bennett says now be DESTROYING bigger American business on the NYSE ? This problem is naked short selling. DESTROYING companies marketshare by FAILING to deliver shares to buyers/shareholders Today a publically traded insurance company's stock was down over 50% because of a Standards and Poors[Rating agency] downgrade. Citibank just layed off 4,000 workers. Countrywide just got bought by Bank of America and another 1,000 OR MORE jobs will be cut. Tonight I will spend another night eating my dinner which consists of a bolonga sandwich. How about you ? What are you having for dinner Main Street ? I am a rather large shareholder of a company that the courts,the SEC and the receiver[Jane Moscowitz] is trying to shut down. They fired ALL the workers and now are trying to de-register their shares and put the company exec's in jail. This company is called Universal Express.They are a fully reporting company and the only "beef" they have with them is they BEG the courts and SEC to do their job and DEFEND their shareholders.
