Jackie Robinson- The definition of Patriot !
Good morning Brooklyn

Good morning World

Hey Brooklyn way back in 1947 you saw through this UNlevel playing field and signed
Jackie Robinson.
THANK YOU BROOKLYN !
I have been reading the stories of Jackie's first days in the major leagues
-a player[Enos Slaughter] spikes Jackie in calf. Jackie gets back up to play
-players from Philadelphia Phillie dugout taunt him asking for "a shine". Jackie
tunes them out.
-while fighting in World War 2 Jackie defends another African-American soldier
and gets his teeth knocked out by superior. Jackie continues to defend his nation.
-Jackie steals home plate in World Series to show that he is EQUAL and America
is an equal nation no matter what color you are.
We weren't understanding in 1947 as you can see from these stories.Why may I ask
are will still living in the past and unable to grow up . ?
60 years have now pasted and we are still more adapt to hate then love. We are still
afraid of the "looks" of a person. This fear keeps us from seeing the friend that lies
underneath a persons color.
Look at the WAR ON TERROR for examples because there are MANY .
Now lets go to the "root" of these problems and I believe it is Wall Street-
-Wall Street is the "piggybank" in which they use to keep these CHILDISH
"prejudices" alive and kicking.
-Wall Street is the piggybank in which our superiors keep us out of the major
leagues of opportunity.
WHERE ARE YOU BRANCH RICKEY ?
We NEED you to be the Chairman of the Securities Exchange Commission. We need you
to help us find the opportunity that you helped Jackie and the world find. We need help
to DEFEND our piggybank.
We need him to help us open up and understand the prejudices of today's markets just
as you did in 1947.
In 2007-Racism is ALIVE and KICKING stronger than in 1947. We still and to a greater
degree look at the "surface" of a person and nothing more.
HAVE WE NOT MATURED IN 60 YEARS ?
It sure doesn't look like it to me .
In todays world wheather you are white,black,green,orange or yellow you have little
opportunity.
In 1947 if you were white or a hero like Jackie you could capture or create that
"opportunity."
TODAY YOU CANNOT !
America and the worlds piggybank has been turned into the wolf and it is guarding the
henhouse we use to call opportunity.The consolidation of power in the world and the
"lawlessness" in which they conduct their business makes me wonder " can hate ever
grow up ?"
-hatred is cowardice
-hatred is weakness
-hatred is stupidity
-hatred is_______
The list can go on and on.
When will it stop ?
Naked Short Sellers are todays Philadelphia Phillies and all the above terms addressing
hatred.
They think we all belong in the minor leagues or "negro" leagues of the Nasdaq Bulletin
Board because we aren't as " talented" as they are .
The definition of Patriot is a person who fights for more than himself. That person fights for
rights and justice and peace. Equal representation is every patriots dream.
We need more patriots like Jackie Robinson and Branch Rickey.
-call your senators
-call your congresspersons
-call your newspapers
-call the white house as well
The worlds piggybank can NO LONGER be kept OUTSIDE the opportunity of
fair play !

Branch Rickey where are you ?
